Microneedling

Collagen induction therapy, also known as microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles. It enhances the texture and smoothness of the skin. It stimulates collagen production, reduce scars, hyperpigmentation, and wrinkles. It can also reduce pore size and has skin tightening effects. It is less expensive and more adjustable than laser therapy. It also has minimal discomfort and downtime. IT IS A MUST HAVE TREATMENT!
Microneedling
The main aim of the treatment is to generate collagen so your skin feels tighter, smoother and softer.

This means there will be fewer visible fine lines and a reduction in the appearance of scarring and pores. It may take a few sessions to see results, but after one treatment your skin should instantly appear brighter (once the post-redness irritation has vanished, of course). It is always recommended to have an initial course of 3 sessions spaced out once a month to see good results.

What aftercare will be needed?

Your skin will be left cleansed and moisturised following treatment. You will not need to do any additional skincare on the day of your appointment. The following morning please cleanse and moisturise with the sample products you have been given followed by SPF. Repeat cleanse and moisturise in the evening without SPF. These samples should last 7 days or more…please do not use any other skincare during this time as your skin will be more sensitive.

• Avoid the sun for the first 48 hrs, after this use a good SPF in your skin care routine, even on cloudy days. This will prevent pigmentation from forming.
• Avoid excess heat for 24 hours following your session to include sauna, steam or heavy workouts.
• Avoid Sunbeds for 7 days – failing to do this will lead in pigmentation development
• Avoid Chlorine for 24 hours
• No make up for 24 hours
